The retirement of her husband’s financial administrators in Europe necessitates Shi-yin’s and her family’s return to France and England. On this journey, Shi-yin works intensively training her daughter by union, Rainbow Mist, in Ch’an Dharma Dueling and Dzogchen Ati Yoga Tantra. Rainbow Mist finds the love of her life on the ship they travel upon while crossing the Hudson Bay yet completes her training with Shi-yin successfully. Encounters with imperialism, heartless capitalism, and colonialism starkly contrast with the egalitarian way of life for the common good of those in Shi-yin’s party constituting challenging adventures. A post-slavery plantation owner from Martinique repeatedly attempts vengeance upon Shi-yin and her family.
