Everything in the world is made up of cells. Our bodies, the world around us, and everything we see is made up of cells. Cells are very small, we cannot see them with our eyes. However, we can see them using a microscope.Cells come in two types: living cells and non-living cells. Living cells make up living things. Non-living cells do not make up living things.Living CellsLiving cells make up living things. Living cells have important parts, including:·        Membrane: The membrane is a thin layer that surrounds the cell. It protects the cell from the outside environment.·        Nucleus: The nucleus is the control center of the cell. It contains the cell’s DNA and RNA.·        Cytoplasm: The cytoplasm is the rest of the cell. It contains all of the other parts of the cell.Non-living CellsNon-living cells do not make up living things. Non-living cells come in two types: single-celled and multicellular.·        Single-celled: Single-celled organisms are made up of a single cell. For example, bacteria is a non-living cell made up of a single cell.ForcesForces are what make things move. There are many different types of forces, including:·        Gravitational force: Gravitational force is the force that pulls objects towards each other. It is the force that keeps us on the ground.·        Electromagnetic force: Electromagnetic force is the force that holds atoms together. It is the force that allows us to see, feel, and touch things.·        Strong force: Strong force is the force that holds protons and neutrons together in the nucleus of an atom.·        Weak force: Weak force is the force that causes radioactive decay.

  • Can the Laws of Physics Be Unified?
    Paul Langacker
A concise introduction to the cutting-edge science of particle physicsThe standard model of particle physics describes our current understanding of nature’s fundamental particles and their interactions, yet gaps remain. For example, it does not include a quantum theory of gravity, nor does it explain the existence of dark matter. Once complete, however, the standard model could...

  • QUARK MODEL AND HIGH ENERGY COLLISIONS
    V V ANISOVICH ET AL
The book discusses constituent quarks, diquarks, the massive effective gluons and the problem of scalar isoscalar mesons. The quark-gluonium classification of meson states is also given. Experimentally observed properties of hadrons are presented together with the corresponding theoretical interpretation in the framework of the composite hadron structure. ...

    T HUBSCH
Calabi-Yau spaces are complex spaces with a vanishing first Chern class, or equivalently, with trivial canonical bundle (canonical class). They are used to construct possibly realistic (super)string models and are thus being studied vigorously in the recent physics literature. In the main part of the Book, collected and reviewed are relevant results on (1) several major techniqu...

  • PREONS-MODELS OF LEPTONS,QUARK& GAUGE BO
    C S Kalman / C S KALMAN I D’SOUZA / I A D’Souza
There are a number of unanswered questions which indicate that the Standard Model, successful as it is, cannot be the entire story. One solution to answering these questions is that the Standard Model is an effective low-energy theory of structure hopefully nearby in its energy scale in much the same way that a model of strong interactions among nucleons mediated by pions is an...

Getrude Chinangwa Gangata / J.J. Fletcher / Joseph K. Amoako
