Years would pass before he gained the authority to carry out his vision, but Mein Kampf’s presence removes the excuse of ignorance from the free world. We dismissed him as a lunatic and ignored his dreadful work, resulting in a tragedy of epic proportions. Another lesson to be learned from Mein Kampf is that of attention and responsibility, of not turning a blind eye to the evil that surrounds us.
