We first meet Gabriel when he is packing up his things and resigning from the State Attorney’s Office to join his father’s civil law firm. As he’s leaving, he tells a colleague that he doesn’t want to pursue justice through punishment, but through service to his clients. Through the stories of his 8 clients and their cases, Gabriel realizes the depth of difficulty that all of his decisions have on their lives, from deciding strategy to litigating in the courtroom.
