La idea que dio lugar a Yo he venido a hablar de mi libro (frase que confesamos que todo escritor que se precie ha querido decir al menos una vez en su vida) surgió en la Feria del Libro de Madrid de 2024; rememorando entre nosotros situaciones vividas en años anteriores surgió la pregunta: «¿Por qué no escribimos un libro de anécdotas de ferias?». Ese fue el punto de partida pero, como era de esperar, ni todas las que recoge este libro son anécdotas feriantes ni todas son experiencias reales, sino que cada cual ha escrito lo que le ha salido del alma. Y muy bien: ante todo la libertad creativa (por no decir que somos un gremio un poco ingobernable).Espero que disfruten de estos relatos tanto como nosotros escribiéndolos. Y, sobre todo, no dejen, por favor, de leer, de asistir a las ferias, de que escritores desconocidos les enreden con sus historias. Permítannos soñar con dedicarnos algún día de manera exclusiva a nuestra pasión. Y, sobre todo, compren libros, no pirateen; y si son libros de autores a los que no conocen, mejor: podemos sorprenderles gratamente y, además, tendremos más posibilidades de que nos publiquen el siguiente. (Esta última frase me la sugieren mis editores). 10
