Wilson’s disease is a rare disease with multiple forms of presentation. High clinical suspicion is required for diagnosis, mainly in young patients. The score proposed by the 8th Wilson’s disease meeting in 2001 is a useful diagnostic tool and treatment with D-penicillamine is safe in the long term, however, multidisciplinary management is required to achieve a satisfactory outcome for patients.
