Sobre IBD

O estudo se refere ao adolescente com deficiência intelectual e a sua inserção social, e como é vivenciada essa inclusão social pelos familiares. O trabalho teve como objetivo conhecer os fatores relacionados à inclusão social de adolescentes com deficiência intelectual. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa e com caráter exploratório, realizada no mês de abril de 2018 na Associação de Pais e Amigos Excepcionais (APAE), em Sobral-Ceará. Participaram 11 mães de adolescentes com deficiência intelectual. A coleta de dados se deu por meio de uma entrevista semiestruturada, que abordou sobre o perfil socioeconômico das famílias estudadas, a família como apoio na inclusão social, a inclusão social sob a perspectiva das cuidadoras e o processo de enfrentamento familiar na inclusão social. As informações foram organizadas e submetidas à análise temática de conteúdo. A pesquisa teve anuência do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do Centro Universitário INTA (UNINTA) tendo sido aprovada sob o Parecer No 2.568.762. Destaque-se no estudo perfil das famílias estudadas, apresentando baixo nível de escolaridade e com baixa renda, tendo somente como fonte de renda benefícios.
