Christianity, from its inception to the present day, has never prospered for any significant period of time without experiencing a major crisis of some kind. Each of these crises resulted in a significant portion of believers, both individuals and sometimes whole congregations, losing their way.Sadly, I believe the church is experiencing another crisis as we enter the second quarter of the 21st century. I am confident that the church will survive the storm in the long run and that a remnant will continue on, however, in the near future, I think we will face some challenging times that will really put our faith to the test.In this book I have identified what I believe are the nine most serious issues which have always been present in the church but have intensified significantly in recent times. Together, we can and must face and overcome each of these crises in the power of God’s Spirit.
