Parsifal é uma ópera em três atos composta por Richard Wagner vagamente baseada na obra Parzival do século XIII de Wolfram von Eschenbach. Sua épica trama traz o cavaleiro Arthuriano em uma busca pela redenção humana junto a artefatos religiosos como a Lança de Longino e o Santo Graal.O forte uso de simbolismos, juntamente com sua restrição de ser executada somente na casa de ópera Bayreuth Festspielhaus por quase 30 anos levou a suas performances serem consideradas quase como um rito religioso.Wagner concebeu a obra em abril de 1857, mas não a terminou até 25 anos depois, sendo ela sua última ópera concluída em vida.
