Rodrigo Savazoni nasceu em Jundiaí (SP), em 1980. Formado em jornalismo (Cásper Líbero, 2001), é doutor em Ciências Humanas e Sociais pela Universidade Federal do ABC. Atua como escritor, pesquisador, gestor cultural e realizador multimídia, sendo hoje diretor do Instituto Procomum, em Brasília (DF). Organizou, com Sergio Cohn, o livro cultura digital.br (2009). É autor dos livros A onda rosa-choque: reflexões sobre redes, cultura e politica (2013), Os Novos Bárbaros - A aventura política do Fora do Eixo (2014) e O comum entre nós: da cultura digital à democracia no século XXI (2021).Este volume da Coleção Cadernos de Cultura e Pensamento traz ensaios que conformam a segunda parte da tese de doutorado do autor no programa de Ciências Humanas e Sociais da Universidade Federal do ABC, defendida em 2023. São seis textos que tratam da história do comum, sua importância propositiva, frente ao neoliberalismo, além de criar um olhar original sobre o Comum em intersecção com o pensamento contemporâneo brasileiro, em diálogo com as culturas afrobrasileiras e ameríndias. 10
