Данная работа касается трех месторождений остреид, датируемых конечным миоценом, на юго-востоке Феса: месторождение на холме Таграрт (регион Эль Мензель), месторождение Дуар Сиди М’Барек (регион Бир Там Там) и месторождение Дуар Сиди Лахсен (регион Аззаба).Систематическое исследование позволило распознать два вида: Ostrea lamellosa (Brocchi, 1814), найденный только в месторождении Tagrart hill, и Crassostrea gryphoides (Schlotheim, 1813), присутствующий в трех месторождениях. Тафономический анализ отложений позволил связать скопления остреид из конечного миоцена на юго-востоке Феса с изменяющимися палеоусловиями: между инфралиторалью для концентраций C1 и C2 Ostrea lamellosa (Brocchi, 1814) из отложений холма Таграрт и для двух концентраций Crassostrea gryphoides из отложений Сиди М’Барек и Сиди Лахсен, и циркумлиторалью для концентрации C3 Crassostrea gryphoides (Schlotheim, 1813) из отложений холма Таграрт.
