El proyecto 'Diseño de Sube y baja para Niños con Capacidades Diferentes' consta en diseñar y estructurar un juego mecánico sube y baja (balancín) para niños con problemas psicomotrices en silla de ruedas especiales, que requieren de entretenimiento durante el tiempo de recreo dentro del Centro de Atención Múltiple #19 (CAM #19). El diseño del dispositivo representa un reto bastante complejo pues no sólo consiste en el diseño mecánico del dispositivo, sino también existen variables que controlarán el diseño final. Estas variables son la seguridad tanto física como psicológica del niño en silla de ruedas que usará sobre el dispositivo. Obteniendo datos psicológicos del comportamiento y estimulaciones de los niños se podrán definir parámetros físicos, estáticos y dinámicos para el diseño del mecanismo.
