'The issues at stake in the matter of a guaranteed income are probably among the most momentous this country has ever faced. The question, simply stated, is, 'Will the United States continue to be a free enterprise nation or will it become a democratic socialist nation?' If a guaranteed income is adopted as the legal 'right' of every citizen who claims it, it will certainly be the beginning of the end for America as we have known it.The guaranteed income will mean a truly giant step toward socialism and it will sap the self-reliance of individuals which enables them to achieve economic well-being by their own efforts. The guaranteed income will destroy the last vestiges of America’s foundations - hard work and faith in individualism. In the end, America will be just another country destroyed by socialism and its corollary, inflation.'

'The removal of moral theology from sex education leaves the problem of sex in the realm of biology, sociology, and community standards. These are weak moral influences indeed, and one would guess that the strongest mores ('Mores' are social standards which are a pale substitute for good morals) would be useless in promoting satisfactory sex behavior on the part of young people...
