My personal story is as follows:'God's Whisper to My Heart' is actually a collection of short bible studies that I wrote when I was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church in South Carolina. The Lord put it on my heart to write these studies to help edify and encourage all those who would read it (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Each week God would whisper to my heart and give me just a title of the bible study that I was to write. Then the Holy Spirit would help me to write the study. When I first started writing, I thought I was doing this to help all the people at the church who needed some sort of healing or words of knowledge. But the Lord let me know that these messages that I was writing were ones that I needed to know deep within my own heart. I was helping many with the teachings, but I was also healing my own heart through the Word of God.The Bible tells us that we are 'in' the world but not 'of' the world, (John 15:19) and we are not to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:2). God tells us that while we are in this physical world, we will have trials and sorrows. However, He also tells us that we can have peace and take heart, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33)!We are living in a very troubled world today. I also believe we are living in the very last days. Jesus is coming soon! There are a lot of people right now that are in need of a Savior and need to know that Jesus loves them. Even though there is so much evil going on in the world, we can have peace and hope because we have Jesus Christ. He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). For this reason, I feel the necessity and urgency to share these messages with everyone in a book called 'God's Whisper to My Heart.' I am confident that these messages will help people through the trials that they are facing and give them assurance that they have a God that loves them. It is very important that we as the body of Christ are united as one with Him for such a time as this. I pray that everyone who reads this book will be blessed!Thank you and God Bless!Julia Brown
