'Fly With Me' is Ute Buehler's first book of poetry. While German is her native language, she shows a mastery of English and the artistry of poetry and photography in this book. Each poem and each photograph is beautifully integrated. Together they set forth her vision of art, creativity and a broad understanding of the nature of love. In 'Fly With Me' it is hard to know what came first, the poems or the pictures because what they all do is create a sense of optimism. These poems are filled with honesty and hopefulness, even when dealing with weighty subjects such as a diagnosis of cancer. Ute Buehler shares a sensibility of buoyancy and beauty that enriches us. 3
