During the Fall of 2049, on the 31st of October, Jacob Smith awoke to find himself in middle of a world-wide nuclear war. The bombs dropped so fast that almost no one on planet earth had enough time to say goodbye, pray, or even call their loved ones. Realizing the only way that he and his family could survive the nuclear holocaust around them was to take shelter in an underground bunker. Not knowing if or when they would ever be able to safely return to the surface, Jacob made the decision to be cryogenically frozen and be awakened when the radiation from the atomic bombs reached tolerable levels. When Jacob awoke from his long sleep, he discovered that he was alone. The underground vault that he and his family had taken shelter in had been abandoned and when he returned to the surface, the world he had known was gone forever. The aftermath that surrounded him made him feel like he was living in a dream, a horrible nightmare that he couldn’t awaken from. Realizing that there was nothing left for him in the decimated town he called home, he embarked on a dangerous journey to find his missing son that he had tried so desperately to save.
