If you are of an age to remember the Batman ’66 TV show-- or know of Looney Tunes cartoons or Buster Keaton movies or even Peter Seller’s iconic Inspector Jacques Clouseau-- you will recognize familiar elements, wordplay, and sight gags along the way.The bad guys (who aren’t really all that bad) always get their due, even though nobody’s ever quite so sure how that due gets done.
