Als ich in meinem Studium die Möglichkeit bekommen habe mit Menschen zu arbeiten die eine Behinderung haben, war ich sehr erschrocken darüber, dass es sehr wenig Literatur darüber gibt, wie gut Musikerziehung für geistig behinderte Menschen und Kinder sein kann. Und das hat mich ermutigt, meine Arbeit darüber zu schreiben. Zu zeigen welch heilende Wirkung die Musikerziehung haben kann, auch wenn sie nicht mit Musiktherapie gleich zu setzen ist.
